Introduction
Human activities have intensified over the last 200 years, resulting in major environmental changes, such as warming and nutrient pollution, which are negatively affecting Earth’s ecosystems.
These drivers have been shown to severely affect plant-pathogen interactions and the extent of disease they cause.
Pathogenic diseases are predicted to disrupt the functioning of ecosystems and their services to human populations.
