Abstract Submission Guidelines
Rutgers Camden students engaged in biology-related research within a lab or classroom have the opportunity to present their work. To be considered for this opportunity, students MUST register and submit their details below no later than Friday, November 15. Decisions on which abstracts are accepted will be sent out on Monday, November 18.
Students submitting group presentations (i.e., those in PPBR or other course-based research experiences) should have only one person within their group submit their abstract details. However, ALL students in that group should register.
Poster Walkthrough Video Guidelines
- Accepted presenters should record a 4-7 minute long video walkthrough of their poster. They will receive a link to submit the poster pdf and video on November 18. These will be posted online for the audience and judges to interact with starting on Wednesday, December 4.
- During the presenter’s assigned time, audience members and judges will enter the presenter’s associated zoom break-out room for a Q/A session.

Prizes
- Judge Pick: Judges including alumni, faculty, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and staff from across multiple institutions in the Philadelphia area will review your posters and recorded presentations while also interacting with you during your zoom Q/A session.
- Peer Pick: All presenters will review and vote on the favorite poster.

9:30 – 10:30: “Summer Research Internship Series: Narrowing down your list.”
- Nathan Fried, Ph.D. (Associate Teaching Professor at Rutgers Camden) will host a virtual workshop that helps undergraduates identify and narrow down their list of summer research programs to apply to.
