Within the body’s gastrointestinal system, the gut microbiola is a very fragile system that can cause substantial phenomena to the digestive and immune systems. Gut microbiola cut off the lungs’ distal end, leading to respiratory diseases like asthma. The gut microbiome can be easily disturbed by a change in diet, i.e., in high-sucrose-based diets that can affect respiration rates within the lungs. The inflammation of the microbiola in the gut causing respiratory disease is currently unknown; However, the results found may help change this answer. Here the data show that a high sucrose-based diet can be one of the main culprits that cause inflammation in the gut. Within the data obtained, observers can see that the hypothesis indirectly correlates to what researchers saw within our lab; high-sucrose-based diets do not have a lasting effect on the respiratory syste1n due 10 the inflammation caused in the gastrointestinal tract during digestion.
